Stroganoff Steakhouse
Situated not far from St. Isaac's Cathedral on Konogvardeyskiy Bulvar, Stroganoff Steakhouse has a reputation as one of St. Petersburg's top luxury restaurants and the best place in the city for high quality steak cooked properly.

The interiors may be unimaginative, but the simple combination of white walls, dark leather, black-and-white photographs and a few antique props is classy and comfortingly familiar. Good meat never comes cheap in Russia, and the steaks at Stoganoff Steakhouse, imported from the US and Australia, are no exception. Fortunately, however, there are no complaints to be made about the quality of the cooking. Elsewhere, the menu provides some welcome local touches to the classic steakhouse range, including traditional Russian soups and caviar.
Popular with solid middle-aged businessman, the Stroganoff Steakhouse nonetheless has a surprisingly welcoming atmosphere, with discreet and very efficient wait staff. If it's steak your after, then you won't be disappointed by Stroganoff Steakhouse.
