Teatralny Bridge
Part of a triptych of elegant cast-iron bridges that cross the point where the Griboedov Canal flows out of the Moika River next to Konyushennaya Ploshchad and the Church on the Spilled Blood, Teatralny Bridge takes its name from the Free Russian Theatre, which stood nearby at the end of the 18th century. Like its sister Maly Konyushenny Bridge, the Teatralny Bridge was designed by Adam and Traitteur, and features extremely ornate railings, panels and lampposts, all heavily decorated with gilt.
