Situated next to the Fontanka River, with charming courtyard seating in the summer, Dickens has an immaculately recreated English pub interior, although it's a little too big to be entirely authentic. The range of imported ales and lagers is also superb, with changing cask ales and seasonal specials. The menu is more restaurant than pub (the prices higher than you might expect), but the quality of the hearty meat dishes is uniformly high (there are also some tasty and quite exotic salads). The full English breakfast is the best in St. Petersburg.
