Tucked away on a side-street behind the Corinthia St Petersburg Hotel, Ket has been in business for over 20 years and is perennially popular with foreign visitors and, to judge by the pictures on the walls, aging Russian pop stars. The classic Georgian food is very good, with very fresh ingredients and sizeable portions, although not the spiciest. The staff are very welcoming, and English is spoken by most of them. This small restaurant is now non-smoking throughout.
