Otmorozhenoye is where ice cream goes wild - forget chocolate and vanilla, at this creamery, you'll find flavors like tomato, beet, and even smoked cheese. Otmorozhenoye is the result of ice cream lover and entrepreneur Tatyana Tatarintseva's tireless efforts to create new and exciting flavors of her favorite food. Otmorozhenoye's flavors are totally innovative, incorporating savory ingredients that are far from the traditionally sweet repertoire of most ice cream shops. The company has three lines - its flagship flavors, alcoholic ice cream, and vegan ice cream. Although these three collections are sold in stores all over St. Petersburg, the heart of the operation is at its Nevsky Prospekt space, known as the "Center for Experimental Ice Cream Flavors". This café has a lounge vibe, with a geometric ceiling design and bright red couches. Its menu includes soups, salads, entrees, and other desserts, in addition to its oh-so-famous ice cream flavors.
