Opened next to Sytniy Market in the same spot as one of St. Petersburg’s most famous restaurants of the Soviet era, Tbiliso is run by one of the city’s most respected restaurant groups, and offers high quality Georgian food, including many dishes not found elsewhere. Prices are comparatively high, and this is more of a "gourmet" experience than is to be found in traditional Georgian restaurants. Particularly noteworthy are the homemade soft drinks, which include a very good tarkhun (a Georgian fizzy drink made with tarragon).
