Alexander House Hotel

How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport?

The Alexander House Hotel is located just under 18 kilometers by road from Pulkovo Airport. If you are travelling by taxi or transfer, the journey will take around 30 minutes. As the Alexander House is some distance from the nearest metro station, this is definitely the best way to reach the hotel. If you do choose to use public transport, there are three bus services running from outside the airport terminal building to Moskovskaya Metro Station. From there, travel north on the blue line six stops to Sennaya Ploshchad. You will then need to cross the square in front of the metro diagonally to catch a bus on Sadovaya Ulitsa three stops to Nikolskaya Ploshchad. From there, turn left along the Krukov Canal and walk 100 meters to reach the Alexander House.

How do I get to the hotel from Moscow Railway Station?

If you wish to take public transport to reach the hotel, the best way is by bus. On exiting the station, cross Ploshchad Vosstaniya diagonally (towards the metro station pavilion) and walk a short distance along Nevsky Prospekt to reach the stop in front of the Nevsky Forum shopping mall. From there, take a 181 bus and travel to Nikolskaya Ploshchad (ten stops). The Alexander House Hotel is about five minutes walk from the bus stop. It is of course much easier, particularly if you are travelling with heavy luggage, to take a taxi or pre-arrange a transfer. If you do, the drive will take around 20 minutes in reasonable traffic.
