Ok for a few days
My wife and I stayed 3 nights 23 april 2009 arriving 11 pm off the train by taxi. Reception was open despite late hour. Our room looked out onto school yard. It felt quite cramped considering we were on a 5-week trip. There was no area to wash clothes or hang anything. No fridge. Wi-fi free; Tv yes, no traffic noise (quiet), breakfast ok. Very handy to shops on Nevsky Prospect - Recommended for short stays - clean but may look a bit old-fashioned. All in all, it was OK for the price. We are early 60's and fit, only have 60cm case each and been to overseas 6 times.Mitch
