The Oktiabrskaya Hotel is a large and elegant standard property occupying two buildings close the Moskovskiy Station in the very heart of St. Petersburg. The hotel offers attractive three-star accommodation and a full range of standard services at good value rates.

Unlike the majority of St. Petersburg's standard hotels, the Oktiabrskaya is housed in an attractive historic building that was once the Grand Hotel du Nord. Although the Oktiabrskaya no longer has pretensions to grand hotel status, its rooms and public spaces nonetheless maintain an aura of history and elegance that distinguish it from its 4-star rivals. Rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated and, particularly in the hotel's smaller Ligovsky Building, very reasonably priced. The Oktiabrskaya Hotel is conveniently situated for business and leisure travelers, particularly for those travelling to or from Moscow by train. Nevsky Prospekt, St. Petersburg's majestic central thoroughfare, runs past the hotel, and it is possible to walk to major attractions like the Hermitage and the State Russian Museum in under 30 minutes. If you prefer to use public transport, there is a metro station right next to the hotel.
