Quiet area of the city

I stayed at this hotel in late 2010. If you're looking for peace and quiet, then the Regina Hotel has it in spades. This is a nice residential area, but close enough to plenty of shops and bars, and not bad for transport to the centre. The hotel itself is fine, the staff were friendly enough, and I had no complaints about the room. I was surprised that a small hotel had underground parking (even though I was without a car this time)...
