AlexanderPlatz Hotel

This small 3-star hotel offers simple and inexpensive accommodation in a historic neighborhood of St. Petersburg reasonably close to the city's main railway stations.

Run by the Eurasia Group, a chain of low-cost small hotels that pride themselves on the fact that, unlike St. Petersburg's mini-hotels, all their properties occupy their own separate buildings, the Alexander Platz Hotel offers 47 rooms spread over five floors (including a mansard level) in a modern terrace house with lift. The hotel has attractive public areas and offers a basic range of business and concierge services. The Alexander Platz also has a sauna with plunge pool on-site, and a small restaurant open 24-hour. The hotel does not currently offer any form of internet access in rooms.

The AlexanderPlatz Hotel is located off Ligovsky Prospekt, beyond the Obvodny Canal in a fairly isolated area of St. Petersburg's historic center. Ligovsky Prospekt Metro Station is about 15 minutes' walk away, and Moskovsky and Vitebsky Railway Stations are both under 10 minutes' drive from the AlexanderPlatz. The Central Bus Station is also very close by. The location and the lack of facilities are, however, reasonably reflected in the room rates, which are some of the lowest for standard accommodation in the city center.
